General information: Eleggua, the God of Santeria is the opener of possibilities and exists at the crossroads, which separate the plain of the sensual world from the Spirit World. Eleggua is the mediator between humans and the other Orishas.

Eleggua resides in this head shaped formed stone with cowry shells making up the eyes and the mouth. There is an opening at the bottom of statue to place herbs and items used in ceremony. The statue should be placed on the floor behind the front door. From this place, Eleggua protects all the residents.
